Chloe Miria Ceramics

I have been doing pottery for almost 5 years. I am a teacher full time but spend every spare moment at my wheel. Throwing on the wheel is my preferred way to create ceramics as. I make all of my pieces locally, in Ōtautahi. I love to make pieces that can be used and appreciated in homes and that each piece holds a story of how it was made. I especially love that the time and effort that goes into creating a piece is shown in the end product, especially the beauty of of the small imperfections that remind people it was made by hands, not a machine.
