We’re returning to the heart of the city at South City Mall for our two-day Easter Market bigger, brighter, and bursting with creativity.

With 130+ beautifully curated stalls across the weekend plus hands-on workshops, you’ll discover handmade goods, Easter treats, homewares, art, jewellery, clothing, and locally crafted treasures. Whether you’re shopping for gifts, entertaining the kids, or treating yourself, there’s something for everyone.

Charity Claw Machine

Stuffed with prizes donated by our amazing stallholders, local businesses, and a few surprises from us, this one-of-a-kind activation is all about spreading joy and giving back. Every play helps support a local charity, making it a fun and meaningful way to get into the festive spirit.
 

Whether you win a treat, a treasure, or just have a good laugh trying — every dollar goes directly to a cause that supports our community.

What Type of Stalls?

Expect a vibrant mix of stalls featuring handmade jewellery, ceramics, home décor, candles, art prints, kids' items, fresh baking, boutique clothing, skincare, and so much more.

Ways To Pay?

While some stallholders will have EFTPOS, many are cash-only or accept bank transfers  so we recommend bringing cash on the day to make shopping smooth and stress-free. Most stalls will have their payment details clearly displayed for easy transfers too. Come prepared so you don’t miss out on your favourite finds!

South City Shopping Centre is centrally located and easy to get to from all parts of Christchurch.

Join a Workshop

Paint & Decorate Your Own Easter Cookie

Hosted by The Sugar Daddy

We’re excited to offer two different Easter cookie workshops for kids, hosted by the wonderful team at The Sugar Daddy. Both sessions are fun, hands-on, and designed to let little creatives explore their imagination, no experience needed.

✨ Workshop Options

​

🎨 Paint Your Own Cookie
Kids will use edible paints to colour and design a pre-baked Easter cookie. This option is perfect for children who love painting, colour play, and a more relaxed, creative style.

​

🍪 Decorate Your Own Cookie
Kids will decorate their cookie using icing, sprinkles, and edible decorations, learning simple techniques to create a fun and tasty Easter treat.

​

Each workshop is guided, child-friendly, and capped at 20 kids per session to ensure everyone gets plenty of support and attention.
